Trump Will Really Save The Coal Miners Now

I wonder if there is anything else the billionaires want or will they get rid of him now?

He's played his part once he signs it. He's dead weight that will damage the GOP more than help it at this point. Would be hilarious if he flip flops and ends up vetoing it. We need Schumer in there. :). Oh lawd , the would -be chaos makes me giddy.

My late wife's ultra Republican mother says the only thing she wants now is Trump's autopsy report as she has her beloved tax plan (she is in the bracket). Pence can sign it of course so maybe she will get her Christmas present.

We have a small bet about the suspected Alzheimer's thing.

Honestly I'm mostly hating it because I'm gonna be hurt bad on a real estate deal, otherwise I'd probably be less hateful. I did see some provision that would hurt small time traders as well turning capital gains into ordinary income but can't remember the specifics.

Risky proposition once the new administration moves in. Plus the sentiment in mostly new money who would be willing to take the risk (millennials).

Though I pondered the other day why not turn coal into carbon fiber and sell it to the yuppies making wind turbines? Turns out I'm not the only one:

How so? Serious question.

homeowners to exclude from their taxable income up to $250,000 in capital gains ($500,000 for married taxpayers) from a sale of their primary residence. Under the plan, to qualify for this break, homeowners must have owned and lived in the home for at least five of the last eight years. Currently the rule is two of the last five. Taxpayer use of the exclusion would also be limited to one sale every five years, rather than one every two. In addition, under the house bill, you begin to lose the gains exemption if adjusted gross income (in a look-back period) exceeded $500,000 if married or $250,000 if single.

Basically going to have to pay capital gains tax when I sell next year. I could stay longer but I'm tired if this area. This is also the house bill.. I'm not sure what the language is in the senate bill or if any changes were done.

Actually the coal fired power plants in North Carolina have been making sheet rock with their waste for at least a decade. Nearly all the utility plants in N.C. use the coal ash in products created by nearby manufacturers. There have been some concerns over the possible toxicity of these construction products (e.g. drywall, etc.) over time, but in 2014 the EPA found the products to be completely safe.
