How are my dates wrong? He made those statements after the Paris attacks. We all knew were were looking for the Paris suspects near Brussels. The cell needed to act once Abdeslam was captured as he didn't detonate his vest and was obviously connected to the Belgian cell and would talk when captured.

I was stating the obvious -- that the Brussels attacks were precipitated by the bunghole's capture, f*cking DUH. It is neither in agreement nor disagreement with your argument. You argument fails, miserably, because just as I can allude to causation, in this case the "outing" of Abdeslam's Brussels cell by his capture, so can you in stating Trump was correct in calling Brussels a shithole.

My argument (Abdeslam's capture resulting in the bombings) is the most likely scenario-fit. IEDs take time to make... so obviously the bombings were the result of concern over "use it or lose it" as they likely thought they would soon be captured through interrogation of Abdeslam.

To state that Trump was correct in mentioning Brussels, over a month after the Paris bombings, is akin to stating the sky is blue. It was common knowledge that Brussels was the epicenter of activity.
