Trump wants 4 debates, Biden only has the stamina to do 3 LOL

Then Joe will lose the same way Hillary did. It was her sense of entitlement that cost her the election, the whole, it's my turn B.S. That turns people off. He was earn the title. He has agreed to debates. If he backs away from that then we know with absolute certainty he is weak mentally and emotionally. He needs to at least hold his own during the debates, or at a minimum not fall apart completely. He does that, picks a sane and rational VP who people can see as prez, then he has a better than even money shot at winning.

He does that, picks a sane and rational VP and I would vote for him.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) is the most popular choice to be presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden's running mate among college students, according to a new poll.

Warren was the pick of 28 percent in the Axios-College Reaction poll released Tuesday, compared to 19 percent for Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), who is African American and Indian American. Harris is seen as many as the favorite to be named Biden's vice presidential candidate.

Among college students who identified as Democrats, 33 percent picked Warren compared to 25 percent for Harris.

The poll comes as Biden faces calls to pick a woman of color as his vice presidential pick.

Among Democratic students, Harris was followed by former Democratic Georgia gubernatorial candidate and voting rights activist Stacey Abrams at 14 percent and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) at 11 percent.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), who has taken herself out of the running for vice president, was next at 6 percent.

She was followed by Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms (D) at 4 percent, former national security adviser Susan Rice at 3 percent, Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.) at 2 percent, New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham (D) at 1 percent and Rep. Val Demings (D-Fla.) at 1 percent.

Overall, Abrams was third with 13 percent, followed by Whitmer with 11 percent and Klobuchar with 8 percent.

Biden has pledged to choose a woman running mate, but he has not committed to pick a woman of color for the ticket.

The same poll also found that 60 percent of Democratic and Republican college students alike said they would “definitely” vote in November even if their only choice is to vote in person and risk getting the coronavirus.

Asked if they will vote if they can only vote by mail, 84 percent of Democratic students said they “definitely will” while just 67 percent of Republican students said the same.

President Trump has railed against vote-by-mail efforts in recent months, making unsubstantiated claims that it leads to mass voter fraud.

The Axios-College Reaction poll is based on a survey of 854 total panelists. The poll was conducted June 16-17. There is a margin of error of 3.4 percentage points.

The surveys were administered digitally and used college email addresses as an authentication tool to ensure enrollment in a four-year institution. Respondents in the poll were randomly selected from a respondent database.

A lot of if's there. Joe Biden has a zero chance of being elected president of anything. God help us were he to be elected. ----#countryover----

You have judged it wrong. Twitter has made debate meaningless. Trump is busy smacking the shit out of himself, why interfere?

It will be one gruesome embarrassment after another. Parscale will have a Trump hate book out before the election the way things are going.

I'm a big guy, I have had short drunk men challenge me to fight many times out of the blue and the wink and grin, no other reaction does more damage to them than my fists. I would win either way, but there is no need. Plus I have been scratched near my eye by a coat hanger wire, peaky blinder style. Dirty little shite.

You just want the spectacle as you are are addicted to the endorphins of it all, its not needed by others, we just want it to end. But they have agreed to debates so enjoy your buzz.

Ignoring the fact of whether you are actually leading (not going to get into the concept that the polls are flawed, like they were with Hillary)...

But even if you are leading and you refuse to debate - that might make sure you aren't leading for very long.
Not how it works. This is like a boxing match, heavyweight champion of the world. Joe wants the belt he has to earn in it the ring of debates. If he was a actual contender in the past he would have been on top of the ticket, instead of some token second fiddle.
He earned his way through the democratic debates, I'll give him that. He landed some punches at the end which gave him the decision, no decisive knock out, but he did get the nod. Fine, but now he must fight the actual Champ. Like it or not, accept it or not, Trump has the title, he wears the belt. Joe has to get in the ring and win, and that's done during a debate. It's how we do things, always have. The fact that the left now wants to make excuses, tell us Joe has nothing to prove, only shows just how weak you think he is.
Ohhhhh...NO

The "actual champ" just had nobody turn up despite his best promoting efforts. That is a mortal wound.

Now he will be too desperate to control the optics. I'm seeing military uniforms in the stands... ;)

All needs to do is get 79,000 more voters to the polls than Hillary did.Considering Hillary got 3 million more votes in 2016 and 2 years after Trump was in office Dems got 10 million more votes in 2018 and Biden is doing better in the polls than Hillary and Obama I say he gets that 79,000 + millions more
