venezuela was collapsing long before oil. how can anyone think that socialism and price control systems work. They fail everywhere throughout history because they go against human nature.

People as a group are not going to work their tails off only to see that much of their efforts go to someone else and through taxes and bribes to politicians and party members.

did you ever get a chance to travel through highly socialist countries. did you see how ass backwards they are because no one works hard or cares.
