Trump TV coming?

Source: FT : "Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner has informally approached one of the media industry’s top dealmakers about the prospect of setting up a Trump television network after the presidential election in November."

Holy crap, and I thought we were officially out of rehab on November 8. Now Breitbart is getting a larger platform? At the very least it seems semi-official that Trump is conceding victory and starts planning for the after-life. At least that is what some believe. I, however, believe Trump is looking to cash in on all the dummies he has by now assembled around him by suggesting he can offer a better, more honest, more balanced, TV and new reporting experience. Shudder...
 
Setting up a new TV channel would be a very smart move from Trump.
* He would be able to keep Hillary on her toes, by stirring up his followers to keep questionning her,
all the more that politicians have the temptation of not following through their campain promises.
* He would be able to 'analyse' better issues AND possible solutions

He should definitively go for it when the time is right, all the more that
* He has excellebnt salesman skills
* He likes the 'media attention'

you give this man way too much credit. He could not care less about people. This is about cashing in on this campaign. Its about money, not people.

I give credit where credit is due.
* I do not give him credit for his wealth or 'business skills', as his wealth has been mostly inherited, and looking it carefully, he actually should be much richer nowdays. Inheriting 200-300million$ , plus all his dad's business coaching TWENTY years ago, is not about being "self-made" man as he suggested in his books.
* I do not give him credit for fleecing many hundreds of contractors, and then dismissing these people, and then bragging that he knows how to play the 'bankrupcy' laws.
* I do not give him credit for his lewd comments toward women ( and specially his own daughter), let alone the 'doubtful' photos of him and a teenage ivanka.

I do give him credit for:
* implying that drug addicts ( those who sniff specifically) should not hide in shame, but come to terms with their situation.
* letting us know that SOME Americans are not all like what many, overseas, believe Americans are all about: sophisticated, thoughtful, etc. But yes, America has some really some type of people many would not belived could go on to become presidential hopeful of the most powerful country in the world : brash, rash, very callous, etc. Contrast mcMullin and Trump: most would have believed America would produce more people like McMullin than Trump as presidential hopeful.

Now his TV may be to protect himself from normally coming legal cases ( Trump 'university', child rape, eventually whenever Ivanka decides to 'clarify', etc ) by rebuilding his image, and also attacking those who might want to attack him. he'd defnitively cash on it, as we do not have the truth about his net wealth.

It is not all bad, all good : one has to be balanced and acknowledge the bad and the good.

Trump TV would spell doom for Fox News. How sweet would that be for Roger Ailes?

Fox's viewers are overwhelmingly Trump supporters, a fact that Hannity quickly grasped and O'Reilly grudgingly accepted. Idiot bimbo Megyn Kelly didn't and decided it should all be about her instead. Now she is paying the price, in the form of terrible ratings, which will only get worse.
