I have taken hundreds, if not thousands of hours of firearms training. My comment about interceding should I see someone in distress should not be mistaken for a wanton desire for violence. Just a committed approach to law and order and the protection of the innocent.

It is a pity you lack the capacity to recognize the difference.

I find it pathetic that you think it makes you somehow tougher because you carry a gun and "protect the innocent". I think it makes you weak. I have no doubt that when you aren't armed you are scared all the time; I personally am never armed, and I don't scare easy. If it's my time to go so be it.

If you were a policeman or in the military on the job, I can understand the need to have a weapon and be ready to use it. But for a joker like you to be carrying a gun in public at shopping centers, on the road, in movie theaters, in parks, it's just plain stupid. Increased violence and deaths is a logical conclusion. Your employer understands the risks and denies you the right you believe you have. Do you question your employer's decision ? Why do they not trust you to carry at work ?

I fully understand that the outside world is often confusing to you, but this is a trading and investment site and those are distinctly international in nature. As much as you seem to want the P&R to be a haven for alt-right, conservative ( or worse ) ideas to be shared among like minded people, the world is a much better place if more balanced views exist. The P&R is home to many extremist views that need to be opposed or challenged. For example, your idea that the US is safer because many citizens are armed in public is absurd; every statistic out there proves otherwise, unless you are saying Americans are in some way inherently more violent in nature then citizens in similar first world countries. I feel badly for the millions of Americans who don't think you should be armed in public yet have to live their daily lives with that extra risk.

You are anything but balanced. In any sense of the word. As conservatives go, I am quite liberal. I support Choice. I support Gay Marriage. I support the legalization of drugs. If I am "alt-right" then you are so far left as to be off the scale. Balanced, oh yeah.
