Trump to send direct cash payments to Americans in the next two weeks

A lot of people do not even have monies for groceries. $1,000 might not mean much to you, for others, it would help them. I will use the $1,000 to add to my trading capital and put it to work. This is just a partial return of taxes I already paid. When the US government spend billions of dollars on illegals (foreigners) every single year, American citizens can have some of their monies back. If you do not like it, issue a check to the US Treasury and they will take it off your hands.

And this is the problem. Most people will do something similarly stupid. There needs to be strings attached.

I'd be surprised if this goes thorough. How will they vet those who get and those who should not get? Like the rich folks, before they file their taxes?

I think $1000 per household, not per person, then that's be $330 Billion dollars that we don't have.
in a way, sadly, we'd be stimulating China's economy and Mexican Cartels' businesses :)

$1000 to every American....with an administrative cost of $2000 per, would be my guess.

Is $1000 really the difference between life as we know it and Chinese coronavirus hell? Seriously, that's 1 months rent for a okay apartment in the middle of the country

This is nonsense, as already indebted US economy will pile more debt. Trump is not doing this as stimulus but to get reelected.........sad how they play so harshly with the economy and that too the world's most important one.

If coronavirus goes out of control, it will cause depression not recession, so billions should be spent in finding a quick cure rather than tossing cash all around.
