Trump To Boycott Fox News

It's beyond ironic that a republican candidate would choose Fox to boycott, but it speaks volumes about their coverage of him that he finds MSNBC or CNN more hospitable. It won't affect me, because I haven't been watching Fox. Kelly is suffering a full blown case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, making her show unwatchable. It is clearly personal with her. Probably first time in her life a guy dissed her, and she isn't taking it well at all.

O'Reilly has made a fool out of himself with his typical over the top comments on immigration. Last time I checked, he wasn't a constitutional scholar, although he seems to think he is. He trotted out a couple of republican lawyers, ie amnesty supporters, to state that the 14th Amenmdent clearly grants birth citizenship to the children of illegals, and for him, that settled matters. He ignored the fact that the legislative history of the 14th Amendment, practice at the time of adoption and common sense all lead to a different conclusion, as pointed out by numerous scholars he chose not to put on. Maybe he should change the name of his show to the Spin Zone.

I don't have any sympathy for Fox at all. They chose to turn their debate into a food fight, and they have been after Trump from the getgo. They must be under the delusion that their lofty ratings all come from Jeb! supporters

Good points...It's pretty clear that their ratings surge has been due to the current President, not because there are millions of RINO supporters hanging on their every word...I couldn't stand Fox back in 2000-07 since it was full of RINO talking points and delusional rationalizations...Their reversal of support has been somewhat predictable since their true colors have been exposed...No question that their arrogance in the Trump matter has come back to bite them...

I haven't. I started saying at right after the last debate. Peak Trump.

I think that a parallel could be drawn to the currency thread (i.e. even if the us dollar weakens, it's better than almost all other currencies)...the same could be said of Trump; there isn't another charismatic contender in the GOP...Not to mention that each and everyone of his competitors are vulnerable to left wing "gotcha" style attacks...Trump uses social media very effectively and can still bypass the MSM with his popularity.

I just can't foresee Fiorina or Rubio or Cruz upstaging him...and Jeb is the definition of "wishy washy".

Can't argue with any of that. But all things are possible in the future.

Probably will be the first book with several chapters all numbered 11! He has the right experience to handle the current public sector fiscal situation!
His considerable experience in such situations is in walking away, leaving others holding the bag. And my understanding is that those bags were quite fragrant.

Trump's correct to do that. At the debate that tw$t threw him grenades and she threw softballs to the Fox favorite Bush... It was truly partisan. I hate partisan so much!

So anyhow, people actually watch these news channels I guess. I can't stand of any of them but if Trump boycotts Fox-It then he'll pick up a lot of Democrat votes. Half of them only have one mantra that they repeat over and over; "hate Fox, hate Fox... " ad infinitum ad nauseaum

What's to hate about Fox? Sure, they highlight what the MSM ignores.... but the "Fox lies" chant is pure BS.
