The GOP might be in total control, but Trump most certainly isn't. He faces opposition from inside the party, from the left, from the media, etc. So he's not really in control of the government, embattled as he is.

I cast the vote for Trump because the left paired him against Clinton. If they had paired Trump against someone else, I'd have voted for someone else. You know how you feel about "anyone but Trump"? I feel the same regarding Clinton. You don't have to agree, or like it, because it is my vote to cast.
