According to a report from the DailyBeast, locals and Donald Trump donors in Montana are furious with Kimberly Guilfoyle, who does double duty as a Trump 2020 campaign official while dating the president’s son Don Jr., because she likely exposed them to COVID-19 during a donors’ retreat.

The report notes that the retreat, which also featured fly fishing, was held in July before the president visited the state for a July 4th rally at Mt. Rushmore, and that attendees only found out that Guilfoyle tested positive for the deadly coronavirus the day after she left.

Attendees included Republicans running for competitive state races, including a candidate for lieutenant governor, Kristen Juras; Rep. Greg Gianforte’s wife Susan; and State Auditor Matt Rosendale and his wife, according to a leaked copy of the guest list obtained by a local NBC affiliate. The two-day event included receptions and fly-fishing on a private ranch and a dinner of more than 100 attendees at Big Sky’s ritzy farm-to-table restaurant at Lone Mountain Ranch.”

“It’s unclear why the White House did not instigate the investigation it promised. A representative for Guilfoyle did not respond to a request for comment, and the White House referred a request for comment to the Trump campaign,” the report concludes.

Confession - I can relate to both points of view but live on a rural island, trade from my home office and home school my son. Life really hasn't changed much. I will say that of friends all over the globe, no matter what side of the fence they are on with this issue, the ones who live in cities definitely have complained the most.

Japan didn t even have much of lockdown afaik, below is news title out today in Spain, not that anyone with eyes open doubted it wasn't the case.

Besides I don t get the thing about the stay at home orders, here people had to go to the supermarket to walk around and see other human beeing ( to pick up drugs from dealers as well it seems from other news reports). Could only enter 1 adult at a time. Don t walk or jog outside, be afraid, don't work, don t go to school, several aisles in the supermarkets closed ( mostly allowed to sell food and hygiene products), but booze aisles full to the tilt, tobacco shops open, u can enjoy messing up ur organs while watching TV and playing videogames at home, that s fine, that s actually close to all u are allowed to do. Great for public health that must have been...also it was on the whole country, smallest inhabited spanish island ( from memory) was in the news for a fine to someone there breaking the stay at home order. They had 0 case in the Island. One dude went to a small inhabited island and was taken forcibly to Valencia by the police, so he could be locked in along the rest of the spanish population. Madrid and Barcelona were hit pretty bad at that time but much of Spain was hardly touched, all fell under the same extreme(ly nefarious) measures

It seems that WHO has started saying, today, that it didn t encourage lockdown except in extreme circumstances, that world poverty could double by next year and the result would be a disaster. Link in a different thread Kinda trying to cover their asses it seems, pretty clear the overreaction to covid has been of almost biblical proportion.

Trump might have been a bit quick to go back to work , though he looked alright a couple of days ago in a short speech. seems some folks get hit pretty hard 1 week after the first symptoms, after they subsided.
