Trump Team preparing 1 Trillion cut to budget.........PER YEAR LMAO

Gov worker salaries were adjusted back in the 90's to compete with industry. That is before outsourcing. Remember Y2K, IT workers were enticed out of retirement at $100+/hr. Most of the hype was a hoax developed by Y2K hawksters promoting the sky will fall due to two digit year used in old code prior to SQL.
We'd be saving lots of tax $ if the went on welfare.
Ditto.

Love to see them "cut off their own nose to spite their face".

Yeah, I call bullshit. Easy to say you'd do something because of a poll. Much harder when you have to make financial decisions that affect your life.
Many (maybe 28%) are old enough to retire in 5 years. Don't renew their contracts or squeeze them out. Many work for beltway bandits anyway. So much waste ...

EX white house staff are high profile people , they're quickly snapped up by private companies.

Maybe Piezoe can tell me if dramatically cutting taxes , doubling the military and reducing the budget by a Trillion a year is probable.

Oh. Remember all the Liberal know-it-all's who incessantly shrieked the debt would "explode" under Trump?

It's called CUTTING THE SIZE OF GOVERNMENT BITCH.

Plus tariffs and onshoring.

We'll be running surpluses. You watch. Ask China how it worked out for them.

Legit firms that forecast government debt have Trump creating a higher deficit in coming years. You clearly think otherwise. Eventually, someone will be right. I suspect you will be wrong unless Trump raises personal taxes huge across the board. Huge cuts to military might also help, but does the US really have the willpower to do it ? Chances of the US running surpluses any of the next 4 years is zero. "Tariffs and onshoring" aren't going to do shit for the overall budget short term and trade wars could severely damage the US economy.

This is the thing about propaganda. The numbers don't lie, whatever occurs will be public domain knowledge. Just like when posters on here insisted the SPX would revisit 666 within a year or two in 2009/2010, and the reality it trended up for 7 years to 2200+. That's a huge miss. Reality will be clear and we can revisit your forecast. I suspect you'll eat crow, but if not, more money for all of us.

most have been wrong about Trump so far. You're assuming status quo based on numbers from the exiting admin, what do you expect. Trump will run the country like a businessman not a politician. Based on your comment you don't know the difference.

Until the medical monopoly is destroyed and the medical industry is forced to follow anti-trust laws government spending will never be reduced. The government spend 1,172,500,000,000.00 on "Health care" every year. Sure 605 billion is medicare for the elderly but nearly as much (527 billion) goes to welfare medical spending.

I wonder how much of that is waste and over priced goods and services due lobbyist. Canada healthcare works because of smaller population, lower salaries, and no lobbyist. The same meds cost 1/4 compared to USA.
