Trump Tax Returns... The Deepstate war on US Voters

LOL, hard to believe she actually said something this stupid, but i guess she did, maybe i was wrong and she really is a delusional moron, either that or she thinks her viewers are.

She was way worse a couple of years ago. I can tolerate her segments now. She's has toned down the obvious bias a lot.

I actually used to watch MSNBC quite a bit just prior too, and in the first couple years after Obama got elected, but they made the decision to pivot way further left somehwere around that time, I regularly read sites like the Huffington post, and NYT, if for no other reason than i like to hear the opposing opinion on things, helps give me a more balanced perspective, cant say whether or not i think she has legitimately pivoted though, as last night was the first time i watched her show in years, and i turned it off after ten minutes when my suspicions were confirmed that she didnt have shit because she refused to get to the point.

This is the way that conference calls work every single day if you listen in on them, if the CEO has no excuse for poor performance, they do a twenty minute lead in on all the reasons they are awesome before they get to the point that their earnings just got cut in half. Then you get the big "Yeeeahhhhhh Buuuuutttt" as the gigantic elephant in the room finally comes out to play.

When Jon Stewart retired he was on her show and warned her that msnbc, from a newly non media person, now that he can just watch tv, was starting to become a fipside version of FOX. She said, I don't agree. We tell the truth.

I have yet to hear an ideologue who didnt think they were the ones telling the absolute truth, infact its pretty much the text book definition of an idealogue.

This just released from CNN, Note the author of this Story, Jake Tapper, the one guy on CNN who i just told Tsing i have faith in as a hard news reporter. Im still skeptical of where this all leads, but there might be a there, there.

For Adam Schiff a dem from California to sign onto this, there must be something unusual here, cause its going to be the kiss of death for his career if he wrongfully implicates the obama admin here.

Faith in Jake Tapper CONFIRMED, faith in CNN still at all time lows. :D

House Intel Committee seeks names of Obama officials who requested 'unmasking' of Americans picked up on surveillance

(CNN)The leaders of the House Intelligence Committee asked the three leaders of the intelligence community Wednesday about any time during the last seven months of the Obama administration whenever any of its agents and officials improperly named, or "unmasked," and disseminated the identities of American citizens picked up in intelligence collection.

Chairman Devin Nunes, R-California, and Ranking Member Rep. Adam Schiff, D-California, wrote that they were concerned that members of the intelligence community have not been sufficiently honoring previously established "robust 'minimization procedures'" to protect the identities of US citizens, including "masking" their names. The letter they sent refers to the disclosure to the public that former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn had several conversations with the Russian Ambassador.
The matter is relevant not only because of the House Intelligence Committee's responsibility to conduct oversight of the intelligence community, but also as it may relate to surveillance of Russians known to US intelligence or any others who may have spoken with any advisers or individuals around then-candidate Donald Trump.

Nunes and Schiff asked the intelligence community leaders to disclose any "unmasked" identities that were disseminated throughout the intelligence community, law enforcement, or among senior Obama administration officials from June 2016 until January 2017 that relate to Trump or Hillary Clinton and their associates.

An informed source told CNN that if Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak was being surveilled, Flynn's name should not necessarily have been included on the intelligence report. Rather, "American Citizen 1" or a similar anonymous term should have been used.

"However, as recent news stories, seem to illustrate, individuals talking to the media would appear to have wantonly disregarded these procedures," Nunes and Schiff wrote. The congressmen also asked the names of individuals or agencies who "requested and/or authorized the unmasking and dissemination" of these identities.

The letter was addressed to Admiral Michael Rogers, the director of the National Security Agency; FBI Director James Comey; and CIA Director Mike Pompeo. The acting Director of National Intelligence Michael Dempsey was also included.

Doubling down on stupid is never a good idea, the market teaches me that every time i do it, apparently Maddow hasnt learned this lesson yet.

I wonder how long it will be til Maddow becomes a raging alcoholic, quits shaving her face and starts a "He will not divide us" campaign like Shia Labeouf.

Maddow has now elevated herself to the Glenn Beck stratosphere.

Maddow: Trump’s 2005 Tax Return Had to be ‘Sterling’ So Melania Could Get Her Citizenship

A night after she was mockingly compared to Geraldo Rivera opening Al Capone’s vault for her reveal of President Donald Trump’s2005 tax return, MSNBC host Rachel Maddow spent a segment on her program explaining why the document was significant and raised substantial questions.

Maddow acknowledged that the 1040 appeared to show the president in a “positive light” before stating that it was an “atypical year for his tax preparation strategy.”

“2005 is the year Mr. Trump married his lovely wife Melania,” Maddow said. “This was their first jointly filed tax return as a married couple.”

She then noted that at that time, Mrs. Trump was not a U.S. citizen but a green card holder. Maddow went on to point out that Melania Trump needed to bring that year’s tax return to get her citizenship interview she had in 2006.

“And that tax return would be used as a very important piece of evidence as to whether or not she should get citizenship,” Maddow noted. “So you better believe the 2005 tax return is going to be sterling, right? That it’s going to display excellent citizenship and no red flags whatsoever.”

Maddow would spend the rest of the segment detailing other reasons why the tax return would show that level of income and taxes paid.

It's like married filing separately doesn't exist in their delusional world.

She better be careful, if people start watching her show they will start repeating what she said and she will look really stupid. I would watch a show every night if all it did was report on the media.

"Because I have information about the president doesn't mean that it's necessarily a scandal," she said. "It doesn't mean that it's damning information. If other people leapt to that conclusion without me indicating that it was, that hype is external to what we did."

So let me see if I understand this. She hypes the story relentlessly, draws it out endlessly with those oh so dramatic pauses and quizzical looks, and then blames the viewers when she lays the nothing of substance turd. Yep, that's leftism in a nutshell. Thanks for the illustration Rachel.
