That was part of how the cronies were able to get away with the extraction of wealth and assets for about a decade.

Make people feel real estate and stock market wealth. While the fed unleashed serious inflation. And, Outsourcers like IBM helped cronies extract assets and jobs out of the middle of america and send them to China and other places.
