Trump shuts down government in fight over wall he promised Mexico would fund

Nancy and everyone in Congress has a part to play and so does the President. They need to work it out unless Congress has enough votes to override. (Nancy's part will be much bigger in a few days by the way.)

Congress has already passed a bill funding the government.Republicans in Congress are the only thing stopping a veto override.All democrats would support it.

Conway: Border wall debate 'a silly semantic argument'

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway on Sunday appeared to retreat from President Donald Trump’s signature campaign pledge of a physical wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, saying debate over the final form of the administration’s border security measures amounts to “a silly semantic argument.”

“It is a silly semantic argument because people who just want to say ‘wall, wall, wall’ want it to be a four-letter word and not respect what Customs and Border Patrol and ICE tell us they need, which is enhancements at the border,” Conway said during an interview on “Fox News Sunday.”


“There may be a wall at some places, there may be steel slats, there may be technological enhancements,” Conway said. “But always saying ‘wall’ or ‘no wall’ is being very disingenuous and turning a complete blind eye to what is a crisis at the border when it comes to the drugs pouring in.”

It was never a question of semantics to Trump and his IQ deficient Trumptards as they chanted ,' build the wall' whilst dry humping each other at their simpleton love ins.
