That was my first thought and then I saw the teleprompters left and right of Trump after he went down...both teleprompters were intact unless there was another teleprompter (a 3rd one).

A shooter on a low building and that close to have a clear shot...

The shooter had to have been part of security or dressed as security while not security to be able to gain access to a nearby rooftop.

Most people don't remember but there was a young man trying to shot him 8 years ago also at a rally. He grabbed a security guard's handgun, IIRC. He is in prison.

Maybe someone else was hit first. :(

I once shot a deer about 250 yards away (not that far for an expert hunter/shooter)...fragment from the bullet took down a nearby squirrel running across a tree branch at the wrong time. The squirrel survived after falling out of the tree and crawling away with a wound from fragments to its back leg.

Deer continue running and died about 50 yards later.
