He's probably the best video of the incident. You can hear Secret Service yelling "shooter's down". I'm honestly surprised it took this long for a president to get shot at (whether it be Obama, Trump, or Biden). Guns are too easily accessible in America.
If he was shot (maybe it clipped his ear?) since he was holding that when it first happened, this will only help him win in November. He did a fist pump to the crowd knowing to seize the moment and show strength LOL. This can be his Bush throwing out the first pitch at Yankees Stadium or Obama getting Bin Laden moment. Even though it's all about him...it projects strength.
It's extraordinarily difficult to get a legit, commercial firearm into a rally like this. It's probably some homemade rimfire thing. The detector's sensitivity is set to commercial compact firearms (S&W Shield) as to not be too sensitive where they are searching everyone and picking up change, keys, etc.

Even with Secret Service, this was bound to happen to a POTUS eventually. Biden faces these risks as well. It comes with the job. It might be the highest risk job in the entire country. Trump is now the 7th president to be shot at. 4 were killed (Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley, JFK).
