Trump says higher education no longer needed for fed. jobs

I don't spend much time in the political section of ET. I am what used to be called a Republican Fiscal Conservative. Didn't vote for Trump. Won't.

Well at that time she made the right call, it was better after the dust settled. The Cold War proxy wars were meat grinders. Any normal conflict would have fizzled within a few years but when superpowers are backing both sides.. I guess Venezuela is a good current example of this.

Russia is picking away at the US even now. Dumbing down the government will help...

It is a deep sorrow.

..it shows my age, but I sometimes miss the songs that asked "what if they called a war and nobody came?"

Have we learned nothing?

Guess each generation has to learn it over.
Which brings us back to education... :caution:
