As I said, he is not without faults in his interaction with the press but no man should have to listen to a dumb broad like that who thought up some "I gotcha question" and asked it anyway even though Trump had already fully answered it. That's the little script she came with, and, by god, that's what you get.

Idiots. He just dismissed her question and move on, and told her that it was a nasty, dumb question. Which of course, it was. That kind of crap goes on every day. Trump will talk at length about efforts to fast-track vaccines, then Fauci, Brix and a couple other players will talk about vaccines and what is going on and what the timetable could be and all of that at length. Then after that, the first question from some lefty idiot will be: What is your administration doing to fast-track the development of a vaccine? Even Brix- who is not Trump by any means- gets pissed and crispy over that type of thing.

Meanwhile you ask Joe about vaccines and tests and ppe equipment and his standard answer is that he would hire people and put them in charge of that. Yeh, okay, whatever. Here's the deal, number one, number two, and as my father used to say "Joey, a job is more than a paycheck." Rinse and repeat, "who am I, where am I and are the cameras on yet."

Agreed. It's as if they're 1) not paying any attention to what was just stated and 2) so focused on their "gotcha" question that they lose their shit.

This really is a problem with the White House press corps. Membership has its privileges, they stick together like glue, but there seems to be no removal for being a snarky dumbass. Never thought I'd miss Helen Thomas. Kinda nasty sometimes but at least she was an actual journalist.

You are correct that Trump loves to stir the pot and invites some of the nastiness. We also must acknowledge that no president has ever been so assailed by the media from day one, before day one. Never had there been such a full court press not only to be hyper critical, but to openly and aggressively try to unseat a president. The man will never be accepted on any level by these people, they quite literally wish him dead, openly hate anyone who doesn't hate Trump as much as they do, outright refuse to accept any criticism of their own candidates and have zero interest in finding any common ground to work from. In that environment there does come a point where people just shutdown any attempt at civil discourse.

Yes, I don't use personal insults anywhere but here and I only do them because Trump is the personal insult president.

I occasionally moderate another forum (all trading, no politics) and I'm very constructive and positive there.

You need to actually take time to understand who you are speaking to. The right guys are speaking to a fictional character of their own imagination. Try asking questions on personal viewpoints. But you will run into one barrier, Trump is a piece of shit and you cannot change the minds of well brought up people on this. Only damaged people like him.

You say you are partly from Curacao, whats going on there? Are they taking a lead from the Dutch or doing their own thing?
