One Republican senator explained on Monday why people should ignore President Donald Trump after his admission he has been taking hydroxychloroquine.
Trump’s own administration has warned that the drug can be deadly and it has side-effects that can include hallucinations and mental changes.
Sen. Lisa Murkowski urged Americans to listen to medical professionals instead of Trump, who was a reality-TV star and real estate developer before taking office.
“I’m not a medical professional. The president is not. We should be listening to them,” she explained.
“What I’m saying: Follow the guidance of our medical professionals,” Murkowski said, as quoted by CNN’s Manu Raju.

I don't know if you're being serious or sarcastic. Do you actually believe he's taking hydroxychloroquine as a preventative measure?
You need to use some common sense. What he probably, meant was he would take the drug if he were to get infected with the Corona Virus. He is surrounded by people who have tested positive. Does it not stand to reason that he should take precautions? Only an idiot would say no. That is his choice to when the time comes that he has to be treated with the Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin combo which has proven effective in treating those infected with the Corona Virus. No doubt he has discussed this with his doctor. More likely, he was only trolling extreme liberal media hacks. They would have to talk about him front and center now. Where is Joe Biden? Nobody even remembers him. And when he opens his mouth, he ends up stuffing his foot in his mouth. It is campaign season folks.

Apart from the sheer stupidity of taking it as a prophylactic, how long would he have to keep taking it for that reason? Until there's a vaccine? He'd be dead by then. I need Trump alive so that he can face what awaits him when he leaves office. DAs are standing by.

Assuming Trump is actually taking the drug there are only two scenarios:
- Trump has been spooked by all the people near him in the White House and is taking hydroxychloroquine as a preventative.
- Trump actually tested positive for COVDI-19 and taking hydroxychloroquine as a treatment.
Of course, Trump could just be claiming to take hydroxychloroquine to troll everyone and had the White House doctor release a statement as part of the ploy.
