If china was caving they would have signed a year ago the trade deal. It's very very far from bring over. Just you wait
If corporate earnings continue on today’s pace it strengthens Trump’s hand with China. The two economies are diverging - with China already slowing down at a more rapid rate than the US.

President Donald Trump boasted Sunday without providing evidence that China had "already begun" making large purchases of U.S. agricultural products as part of last week's tariff deal with Beijing.
Unless corporate earning reporting accuracy has been weakened by a politicized SEC.
Netflix earnings after the close later. I'm thinking they should hold up pretty well after there last quarter was a complete disaster. However long term this stock is headed below 100. Might catch a few rides up with this stock but the streaming wars are going to knock netflix straight down over the next 3 years especially when they believe paying billions and billions for content is going to keep them in the lead, it's not. This is not a stock to own any longer.
That would require an act of Congress, as the 10-Q filings are codified. The SEC has been soliciting companies and investors for comments about whether the current system promotes too much "short term thinking" in the markets.
One could make the argument that the SEC has been politicized for decades - especially since they ignored comments from market analysts with respect to the 2008 mortgage crisis, the Enron debacle, and many other examples.
