Trump reveals his birth certificate

How do we know Trump's birth certificate is not a fake?

Donald Trump: I've got my birth certificate, where President Barack Obama's?

Donald Trump now sees himself as something of a patron saint for the birthers – and he's even released his own birth certificate as he steps up criticism of the president.

Seeking to pump more energy into the birther movement and quirky chase for the White House, Trump on Monday provided a copy of his birth certificate to the conservative website Newsmax – which has played a leading role in trumpeting birther mythology.

And in an interview on Fox News, Trump cast himself as something akin to the rebel leader of the birther movement.

“Now, this guy either has a birth certificate or he doesn’t,” Trump said. “And I didn't think this was such a big deal, but I will tell you, it’s turning out to be a very big deal because people now are calling me from all over saying, please don't give up on this issue."

Trump’s insistence that he’s being encouraged to continue on his birther crusade has led to what he says is the startling revelation that, “all of a sudden, a lot of facts are emerging and I’m starting to wonder myself whether or not [Obama] was born in this country."

Trump also called for Hawaii Democratic Gov. Neil Abercrombie to be investigated for stating that he – as a friend of the president’s parents – remembers Obama’s birth.

"I think this guy should be investigated," Trump said. "I doubt it. He remembers when Obama was born? Give me a break! He's just trying to do something for his party."

Trumps ideas and style led him to the BK courts multiple times.

Nothing immoral or unethical about filing bk, you do what the law allows, no harm no foul.

Imo, The Apprentice, this was a very generous offering of his time to educate many people into the real world of business.

Although he was paid and reaped many benefits from The Apprentice, lessor and bigger success's didn't even come close to matching the business lesson people derived from his show.

Trump has neither the aptitude nor the disposition for public service
(which is why he has aptly chosen to run as a Republican)

The argument that an elected representative should have business experience is a canard. Government is not a business. It should not be viewed as a for profit enterprise that favors relationships that enrich the operators of a government entity, even though it sadly does.

On the flip side, Can you imagine the response of people if a former congressman or Cabinet member claimed he could run a Fortune 500 company simply on the basis of having been a legislator or member of the exec branch?

However, if successful business experience were to be dominant factor in choosing a candidate, then Trump seems to fail that test. Many of his enterprises have failed, costing investors and lenders billions of dollars. Trump Airlines. Remember that? He bought the Eastern shuttle for 300 million and drove it quickly into disaster. Trump Casinos in Atlantic City? Filed for bankruptcy. When an analyst published an accurate pan of the Casino bonds, he bullied - publicly - the analyst's bosses into firing him. The analyst won a wrongful dismissal lawsuit. He even bragged about how he mislead lenders into thinking he had broken ground on the original casino sight. (He hired a few contractors to drive their bulldozers around when he conducted a banker's tour of the sight, to create the image of construction) Trump's misdeeds in the NYC real estate world are legendary and his handshake is worthless in the industry. He routinely stiffs vendors and issues threats to anyone who publicly criticizes him. As to real estate success, let's not forget that Donald's father built a 700 million dollar empire that Trump stepped into.

Trump fails the candidacy test on both experiential and ethical grounds. He is simply not suited to look after the interests of 300 million Americans. 30 people - his clan - he can look after. Beyond that, look out.

It's hard to imagine how anyone could seriously envision this guy in the Chief Executive's office of the United States of America.

I'll add a personal note.

It was only last week I found myself wondering about a particular situation. I'm thinking to myself what would Trump do? :D (go ahead and laugh)

The thought I came away with regarding my Trump question is Donald probably would say to me "expect to be challenged".

People are a royal pain in the ass.

Nothing immoral about bk?...depends on how you got to bk.

The Apprentice is a dumbed down reality TV show, with dumbed down contestants geared for a dumbed down audience.

So the dumbed down viewers learn how to make money in a dumbed down America...

Isn't that swell...

Score one for the Donald. He just bitch slapped Anthony Weiner on Piers Morgan. And I mean bitch slapped him. I'm impressed. I'll try to get a clip posted once it comes up. You can catch the repeat in a few hours.

Here is the exchange.

Donald Trump became Rep. Anthony Weiner's (D-N.Y.) latest TV sparring partner Monday night, as the real estate mogul and the Queens congressman clashed over their respective poll numbers.

"I'm not president yet, although I think I have as much chance as Donald Trump does," Weiner said on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight," following President Barack Obama's national address on Libya.
Trump, who's engaged in his latest presidential tease, shot back: "If I polled like Anthony's polling, I would drop out immediately."

"Don't worry you'll be dropping out soon enough Donald, we both know it," Weiner responded.

Host Piers Morgan asked Trump if that's the case.

"No, I just saw polls today that show me doing very well and when Anthony makes a statement like that, it's too bad for him," Trump said, adding, "I look at his polls in New York running for mayor so he does very poorly so I just wish him good luck."

In fact, Weiner, who ran for mayor in 2005 but passed up a repeat run in 2009, polls at the top of the pack.

"I'm the front-runner, big guy," Weiner fired back. "I''m not sure you're gonna be around at the end."

Trump replied, "A lot of people are leaving the city if you end up winning."

Obama's people have spent some long coin avoiding showing his birth cert, and like Trump says, nobody can find anybody that knew him as a child... the bullshit mofo was not born here, it's pretty obvious...

Exactly right. Trump is an open book for criticism, but AT THE VERY LEAST he has run a BUSINESS...
Business indeed. And few have his considerable personal experience with bankruptcies and receiverships.

Are you kidding me? You're delusional. I watched the show. Trump has nothing on Weiner, and he is certainly no match in a battle of wits with AW. Weiner is seriously smart.

"A lot of people are leaving the city if you end up winning?" Really? That's all he's got? That's a good comeback, Trump style? That's just petty petulance from someone who was just bested. He might as well have just said, "Oh yeah? Well your momma..."
