For me that falls under the stay out of the way category. The pres is responsible for keeping the Executive Branch running smoothly but they are not going to do anything for how APPL, AMAZON or GE operates and contributes to the economy except to fuck things up and get in the way.

Responsible fiscal policy is anotehr government oxymoron and does not exist under any party really...
