Everyday democrats get to bash republicans on healthcare until 2020. Can you feel the joy?

I’ve read this plum of an idea was the brain child of Mick Mulvaney which is going to make his job as chief of staff so much harder when he needs to interact with congress.

And to put all of this into perspective the 2020 senate map is worse for republicans than 2018 was for Dems. There’s a better chance than not Dems will control both houses in 2020 so wtf is Trump talking about anyway?

Regardless, it’s a bright sun shiny day if you’re a democrat.

It’s fantastic. There is not a better issue for democrats to have going into a presidential election.

Healthcare is a huge motivator for voters and voters overwhelmingly trust democrats over republicans on healthcare.

Meanwhile, Pelosi and other dems who have been around the block a bit, continue to work frantically and frenetically to stop all the talk of impeachment. You impeach trump and absolutely no other issue will even be heard by either side, and it will do nothing but rally Trump's base. Pelosi knows that. The other dildos- not so much.

Let's go. Plenty of material coming out of the Mueller report to fuel the fire. It's your duty to impeach trump if believe your own accusations. Don't be a bloviating coward.

President Donald Trump on Monday night postponed his plans to make Republicans into the “party of great health care” until after the 2020 elections.

“Vote will be taken right after the Election when Republicans hold the Senate and win back the House,” Trump wrote. “It will be truly great HealthCare that will work for America.”

Last week, the president tried to boost Republican efforts to come up with a new health care plan by promising something far better than Obamacare.

He specifically tasked Sens. John Barrasso, Bill Cassidy, and Rick Scott to come up with a much better plan after meeting with Senate Republicans on Tuesday.

But the appetite for a proposal appeared to dissipate among Republicans, as Democrats controll the House of Representatives under Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Democrats successfully ran on improving the health care system in 2018.

Trump said that the Republican plan would be far better than Obamacare, citing impossibly high premiums and deductibles. He also argued that the Republican plan would be better than Democrat promises of “Medicare for all” which would cause Americans to lose their private health insurance.

“It will be truly great HealthCare that will work for America,” he wrote. “Also, Republicans will always support Pre-Existing Conditions.”

Everybody agrees that ObamaCare doesn’t work. Premiums & deductibles are far too high - Really bad HealthCare! Even the Dems want to replace it, but with Medicare for all, which would cause 180 million Americans to lose their beloved private health insurance. The Republicans.....

Oh, I do want Trump to make people feel insecure with their healthcare, and they would be right to feel insecure. He will continue to sandbag ACA in the courts and muck up operations from an administrative angle.

But this whole package snowballs against Trump. The further it goes down the hill the bigger and more destructive it becomes. When he directed DOJ to argue for throwing out the entire ACA he put himself in a position similar to when he shut the government down to force Americans to pay for a wall he promised Mexico would pay for. There’s no way out for him now.
