Don’t underestimate quid pro quo. Trump has already allowed Putin to control Syria. I don’t know what action 007 has in mind but it doesn’t seem out of the question when you consider the discord Trump is sewing in NATO.

I don't think so. It will take time, but the outcome will be good for the US economy for decades to come.
Trump will need at least 2 terms to repair the damage Obama did. Lucky for us Obama did most of his damage extraconstitutionally so it's been relatively easy to undo. Had Obama done his damage through legislation, it would be much harder to undo. Trump might need 3 terms if that were the case.
