Gingrich: Trump ‘Landmark’ Warsaw Speech Best Since FDR Explaining ‘This Is a War About Civilization’

Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich boasted about how good President Donald Trump’s speech he gave earlier in the day in Warsaw, Poland the United States’ current role in the world from a historical perspective.
Gingrich told fill-in Laura Ingraham the speech was much like the one former President Ronald Reagan gave in 1982 to British parliament and laid out the “struggle” the West is facing with Islamic terrorism and “bureaucratic secularists.”
“I thought it was very much like Reagan’s 1982 speech at Westminster, which was one of his best speeches,” Gingrich said. “Trump is describing in a way almost no American president has since Franklin Delano Roosevelt that this is a war about civilization — that we are in a struggle. And I thought he was particularly courageous in pointing out that not only are we in a struggle with Islamic terrorists, we’re also in a struggle with bureaucratic secularists such as the British court that basically wants to kill Charlie Gard, the little baby that they do not want to allow to go and have any kind of help, either at the Vatican or in the United States.”
“It’s a landmark,” he added. “I think people will be able to see philosophically a lot better who Donald Trump is from this speech and I think from the standpoint of the Polish people it was enormously heartening to have an American president so decisively with them and so openly tough about communism and about Russia.”

Poland’s President Andrzej Duda slammed “fake news” reports — fueled by a deceptively edited video, shared by CNN’s Chris Cillizza — that his wife, Agata Kornhauser-Duda, intentionally snubbed President Donald Trump by refusing to shake his hand during his visit to Poland on Thursday.
“Contrary to some surprising reports my wife did shake hands with Mrs. and Mr. Trump @POTUS after a great visit,” President Duda wrote Thursday, adding, “Let’s FIGHT FAKE NEWS.”

The handshake thing with the Polish first lady is more fake news. In the un-edited video, she shakes Trump's hand two seconds after shaking Melania's hand. Sadly CNN and all the liberal news outlets make a big deal out of this and don't show the next 4 seconds of video.
But you gotta give it to him. This guy lost it all. Miserably and pathetically dumped his wife for another one, still not happy. Licked Trumps butt and got nothing in exchange. Literally nothing. But still cheers him as if the cabinet is decided tomorrow and he expects to be nominated for secretary of state. On which planet does this mongrel live?

This really has gone beyond the absurd. It has also become a threat to national security. The media, especially CNN, have lost all sense of proportion. Their comments show the emotional balance of a 13 year old. Their obsessive need to jump on anything they perceive to be negative, and if necessary actually fabricate this negatively is setting a tone for violence. The FCC needs to, at a minimum, give them notice that if they do not make some changes and find at least some shred of journalist balance that their license will be suspended for some period until they do. As of this moment CNN has all the credibility of some adolescent message board troll.
