Trump knowingly went sick into the debate (you heard it here first)

Conspiracies already floating that the dems "infected him" so it's clear projection of what his team tried to do (infect Biden).

WH Physician’s Briefing Leaves Serious Questions About When Trump Tested Positive for COVID-19
Dr. Sean Conley said the president is improving. Others in the White House suggest otherwise.

One of the most serious questions from the briefing was the way in which Conley’s description of the president’s diagnosis and treatment didn’t match up with what previous official reports had indicated about the timeline of the his condition. Trump tweeted that he and First Lady Melania Trump had tested positive for COVID-19 around 1 a.m. on Friday morning. But Conley said that, as of the briefing on Saturday, the president had been 72 hours into his diagnosis. Another doctor treating Trump who spoke at the briefing said that the president had been administered a Regeneron antibody cocktail, an experimental treatment, 48 hours before, even though a White House press release announced that it had been administered after the president’s positive test—which, according to Conley had occurred on Thursday evening.

Nor would Conley answer when the president had his last negative coronavirus test, saying only that the president had been tested after news that Hope Hicks, the president’s senior aide, had tested positive for the virus on Thursday. He did not indicate the results of any tests potentially administered to the president in advance of Tuesday’s debate against Joe Biden or his Wednesday campaign rally in Minnesota—an appearance that was nearly half as long as his usual events.

Chris Wallace: Trump arrived too late to be tested in Ohio before debate, relied on 'honor system'

Fox News anchor Chris Wallace said President Trump did not arrive in Cleveland ahead of the first presidential debate in time to get tested in Ohio before the event took place.

Wallace, who served as the moderator for the event, said the president "didn't arrive until Tuesday afternoon" in Cleveland to face off against Democratic nominee Joe Biden. The time of the debate was Tuesday at 9 p.m.

"The difference was I arrived on Sunday, you arrived on Monday,” Wallace told fellow Fox News colleague Bill Hemmer.

“[The Trump family] didn’t arrive until Tuesday afternoon. So for them to get tested, there wouldn’t have been enough time to have the test and have the debate at 9:00 that night. They didn’t show up until 3:00, 4:00, 5:00 in the afternoon. There was an honor system when it came to the people that came into the hall from the two campaigns.”

It wasn't a mistake, it was a message to the establishment. Clean up your act or this is what happens. We the people get hosed either way. Knowing Trump is a major pain in the ass for them is our only satisfaction. We not only own it, we celebrate it.
But has Trump been a PITA to the establishment? By establishment I mean mainly the rentier class, and those who have been called the "managerial elite". Perhaps some of the former are losing a bit because of leadership's failed Cov19 response (I'm thinking partly of literal rent defaults), though the stock market belies that; and perhaps some of the latter have lost their salaried jobs permanently (a fraction of the permanent job losses among the hourly class, I would think).

Trump the super speader. "IF TRUE" he was quite irresponsible in do so. Even I, Covid mimimulist, quarantined myself for 10 days after knowing I had been exposed. Too bad there isn't a good alternative to him. Thanks for nothing leftists.

He definitely attended his last event AFTER he should have isolated himself to get tested. That much is certain.

Lawsuits; State criminal charges? ...
... If he survives this flu he caught.

Trump has operated above the law for 4 years. His idea that he can ignore the election results is just a continuation of that. The real question is why do some Americans think they want a President that operates above the law ? How would they like it if a family member was shot and there was no court case because "Trump put the order in". That's where the US is headed under Trump; not unlike Russia where Putin actually sent out death squads to poison political opponents on several occasions. Yes, the US hasn't gotten that bad yet, but recent Trump actions concerning the election are highly reminiscent of how fascist leaders in false democracies operate. Put some goons at the polling stations, question the election process, interfere with the vote itself. I just read today that in Vermont, one polling station was blocked by far right extremists. Is that the US people really want ?

You're exactly correct. Trump is just one of a multitude of clowns walking the planet. You raise the real question: What makes people follow a particular clown? This particular clown?

Whether the clown is Jim Jones, Hale Bopp leader, or Trump; the answer lies in the specific educations and biases and other factors of the subject individual.

Seemingly intelligent people fall for scams/frauds everyday, all day.

Some of us are better at discerning bullshit than others.

Others need a "hero" figure in their life, for a multitude of reasons.

This list goes on. There's a lot going on.

But I do know if a solution is not implemented, there's nothing that'll stop another fraud-clown from being elected in the future.

There are solutions; but the same things that cause folks to vote for clowns, would cause them to reject those solutions.

Basically, empires have a lifespan; and I'm afraid we are near the end of ours.
