And I also said that Ford had neither of those factors. He was never elected by the people for that office and was never elected by electoral college for that office.

But they did vote for him as vp knowing that vp can become president. They never did that for Ford did they?

I never said that Pence was the reason why Trump was elected as much as you would like to crabwalk down that road. I said that at least he had come to the VP role through a national and electoral college elections which allowed the people to at least learn something about him through months of campaigning. Ford did not. Work with that a little. I know it is complicated for you. For others, not so much.

Ford was picked directly by Nixon and never been through a popular national election. Whereas Pence ran as part of national campaign ticket that won a national election.
