Because the US has great hubris. Most Americans are truly dumber now, few college students are studying humanities like history since 2008 and that comes with a huge cost for the nation. Some say for fear of not being specialized enough. Only the handful of ivy leagues have plenty of these because these students know they can have any job they want on leaving school, because of where they went. The nation is getting dumber and dumber, the only thing keeping the tech industry running is foreign brains and they will go where the best offer is. China can make that better-than-the-US world. Or maybe both fail and the machines take over.

I can't help contradicting this opinion. In the event that Trump loses the decision, China wins. Do you think ANY about different suckers running for President will arrange hard with China? Possibly Bernie.
 
Now that countries like Pakistan are making JF-17 fighter jets, exports and imports will fall by 60% to 80%. People will buy locally made products and goods.
