WHO is a more a US funded social club.

The current posturing of deflecting the source and mismanagement of the early days of the Chinese Virus by China is beyond belief.
The WHO initially impeded the implication of the Chinese Virus as an error on the part of a lab in China and continues to support that China is not culpable in the Chinese Virus matter.
There is a growing body of evidence that the Chinese Virus somehow got out of a virus lab in China. The Chinese government closed down internal travel inside of China a week before closing down international travel. For an extra week it allowed people to travel from China to other countries. This is how the Chinese virus was spread to other countries.
Close down internal travel but leave international travel alone????
Academia and science are not as unbiased as most would think. Much research in viruses is funded by China.
First it was a bat with a virus that was infected and then sold in a wet market and then was eaten by a human. Problem, this virus did not have the spike that is a hall market of the Chinese Virus.
Next, in a peer reviewed article in Nature there was a article that suggested that it was not a bat that was eaten by anteater, I kind you not, an anteater. The virus the anteater had, did have the spike but was only 90% indentical to the human Chinese virus.
I am also familiar with the argument that the Chinese virus is not neat enough - order of nucleotides - to have been manufactured in a lab. Just because something is not straight forward, does not imply it was not part of some sort of experiment.
All of this - They blinded me with science to obscure the obvious. China was messing around with gain of function in a virus and the Chinese Virus escaped from the lab.
To this day the World Health Organization has yet to criticize China for not closing foreign travel at the same time that they closed domestic travel. Over 100,000 people left China and flew to other countries before China mentioned a new virus.

95% true the Chinese virus came from a virus research lab doing gain of function experiments on existing viruses.
When in comes to the Chinese virus and China, mums the word with the WHO.
Sure other countries are upset. They will no longer get lots of free parties at the US's expense.
Trump is the only person with balls enough to say that the World Health Organization is a dysfunctional organization for which the US pays most of the funding and gets the least benefit. The US pays by far the most and gets the least benefits. The US can not afford to pay for all the other countries of the world forever.
The virus is a Chinese virus. China needs to be harshly reprimanded, especially by the WHO. Discussion should be taking place on what China will have to pay for callously releasing the Chinese Virus on the rest of the world.
I strongly support the defunding of the WHO.
