he is talking about loosening restrictions on business. That may sound good and help the market in the very near term but it could be a huge political mistake not to mention endangering the health of even more people.
That idiot should keep everything locked down for at least 2 more weeks so we can get through this. By loosening restrictions he is only making things worse and prolonging the outbreak. He does this, it can easily cost him the election.
Politicians are judged on how they handle a crisis. Cuomo is doing an excellent job.

Absolutely. It's an awful idea. Loosening restrictions = more infections = businesses operating at 40% for many months. That's much worse than lockdown, beat this thing, businesses at 10% for only 1-2 months.

I voted for him because i like his policies, they make total sense. However, loosening restrictions or even talking about it is just insanely dumb.

opening up is the RIGHT decision.

lock down net net aint saving anybody... imagine the increase in clinical depression and substance abuse... these death will already surpass any lives saved from the shut down.

not to mention the economic damage of 5% GDP equates to 500,000 lost lives... human life is NOT priceless!

politically it's also the right move.... his voting base is built on the economy. cant lose that.
