Ann Coulter makes an interesting point. Trump is the only candidate who can win states that Romney lost. Even though Romney had a large majority of white votes nationwide, he failed to get a majority of whites in several important battleground states and lost them. It's hard to see how the other candidates, ie Cruz and Kasich, are improvements on Romney. Cruz is ok, provided you already agree with his positions. Otherwise, he's kind of weird bordering on creepy. Kasich is basically a buffoon.

Trump has brought out millions of new voters, which we thought was what the RNC was desperate to do. Only they wanted them to be liberal hispanic and women voters, not white union guys. Oops. Trump will be competitive in half a dozen swing states that Romney lost. Romney was not the right candidate for the industrialized midwest. Trump however appeals to displaced workers and those worrying about being displaced. Trump should carry Florida, NC, possibly Virginia, and he has a good shot in every midwestern state except probably Illinois. If he carries Florida, Ohio and maybe Pennsylvania or Wisconsin, it's game over for the dems.

Leave it to the republicans to screw this up. Trump is not an authentic conservative, so they want to sabotage Trump and throw the election to Hillary. That makes sense, but only in the alternative universe they inhabit.

Here is an interesting point that Ann Coulter missed. Trump is down by 12 points to Hillary. The guy is going to get his ass kicked if he is the nominee. Why are you even bringing up Wisconsin? He is about to get his ass handed to him in Wisconsin.

Any standard issue Republican can beat Hillary or any Democrat because Obama's years have been horrible... Trump can't beat Hillary, women don't like him, he makes sure of that, ergo: Trump is Hillary's best asset. The Clintons had that Texas Millionaire guy dividing the Republicans in the '90's, now they have Trump... maybe they plan it that way, maybe not

Obamacare was projected to have 24 million more people that it has.
Its a total flop. More people are uninsured than before. All it did was sign up people for medicare at a massive and a 60% or so insurance rate hike on the working class. .

All these projections are guesswork and they are frequently biased.

I don't agree with that. Romney couldn't beat Obama after a disastrous first term. The Trump alternatives are unlikely to do better than Romney. The old republican game of " we are loathsome but consider the alternative" isn't going to fly this time. We are sick of being played for chumps.

There are two possibilities. Romney is even worse than Obama (wo is "evil incarnate"), or Obama's first term was not actually a disaster.

Who claimed anything about goofball Kasich?

Wisconsin is a huge deal because Trump was consistently winning by double digits a few weeks ago and now he is working on losing it, and perhaps losing it big. Wisconsin was supposed to be in the bag for Trump and now he is going to lose it.
