Trump has talked to associates about forming new political party: report

I've talked often about Trump displeasure and attacks on the GOP...he's been doing such before abandoning his Reform Party to do a takeover of the GOP.

Now he's considering creating a new party called the Patriot Party. It should be good for about 30 - 40 million voters...essentially weakening both the GOP and Patriot. Making it much easier for a repeat victory in 2024 for the Democrats.

According to the latest polls, less than 33% of Americans still see Trump as President again. The biggest part of this 33% are from the extreme right. Let's say the scum.

Extreme left or extreme right are always a bad thing for democracy.

If Trump would start a new party it would be good news for the Democrats. Trump would weaken the Republicans and put the Democrats in a very comfortable position. Democrats will never vote for Trump, so they will not lose voters.

Yes he can. A lot of other criminals did it before and ran their criminal organisation from prison. Why would criminal Donald not be able to run his criminal organisation from prison? :D
 
Love Trump or hate him, if there was ever a time to truly organize a third party this is it. Three quarters of this country, both left and right don't trust this government. Find a way to blend those two extremely dissatisfied groups and the establishment will be crushed.
I ain't saying Trump is the right candidate to run that party, but he can and most likely will be an influential member of that party.

Because it would dilute the Right vote, and a Republican would win nevermore.

But if Trump's envisioned "patriot party" will have the kind of planning and depth characteristic of most of his business ventures, then Mitch has nothing to worry about.
