Gallup wasn't polling much in 1938 because of the war.There was only one poll 5 or 8 months prior to the election so we don't really know what Trumans approval ratings were

If so it would look like daily cases are up 100% or whatever (vs a month ago) in the US and everywhere else they are flat or falling or rising much slower

The fact you would even entertain this absurdity suggests you have no real understanding of the US virus reality. Trump obviously doesn't he filters out all news he doesn't like even if it threatens the health of US citizens.

135k dead from covid (supposedly). Majority of them in deep blue cities in deep blue states. Thats a lot less democrat voters.
