Yes, you should never forget the slaves because it's a reminder of a racist past in the US. Kind of like how your current posts are a reminder of a racist present in the US. This is not anything to do with "Liberals". It's about human decency and eliminating stigmas and bigotry based on skin colour, ethic origin, and other inappropriate reasons.

Everyone owned slaves. Blacks owned black slaves. Whites owned white slaves. Chinese owned Chinese slaves. Blacks owned white and middle eastern slaves. That's history. Prior to the industrial revolution 'machines' were animals and people. The more a person owned, the more 'wealthy' they were. Another glaring lie of omission lost on Democrats is the obsessional fixation with Americas slave-owning past. Specifically, white-on-black slavery. The lie is educators only discuss white-on-black American slavery to the exclusion of the totality of human history. Why? To sow racial division. Slavery was the norm right up until the 1800's, going back since the start of recorded history. Did you know that native Indians conquered warring tribes and enslaved them? Did you know America had more indentured white slaves then black slaves? Mansa Musa (a black guy), one of the richest people who ever lived, owned 12,000 black slaves. The ignorance on display is really apparent from a self-proclaimed "educated" person...

Don't worry about it because it's all natural. The civilizations and empires of Earth have been black, brown, yellow, red, white, brown, white, and look to come around to yellow (and maybe brown and/or black) again.
Throughout the history of mankind... invaders/conquerors, whatever their motivation... either (1) killed everyone and took their land and stuff, or (2) enslaved the conquered... and not just the black people.
American white people "owning slaves" is not historically outrageous.

That's fine. I have no problem with that assuming the next great colored powers are honest and respect human liberty and private property. That's all we can hope. Despite what nineender thinks not everyone is a racist. It's about ideals and principles not skin color
Most who "cry racism" are being disingenuous. Being "against a group/person" simply because of their skin color is racist. Being against someone because of their BEHAVIOR is NOT racist.
The "Black Lives Matter" cult is BS. Anyone against them is because of their despicable behavior, not because of skin color.
