Yes, he loves that flag. He would have fought for it without those bone spurs.
He loves the US and it's economy except he has walked away from his financial obligations numerous times.
Hugging that flag is disgusting and insults those that made the ultimate sacrifice.

Your idea may fall in the latter category, but I personally am not willing to dismiss it entirely. It's rather unique and should be considered further. The first conjecture may have something to it. Most likely, the second is wrong. It is much more likely, i would think, that Anthropology and Sociology are components of what replaced classical philosophy rather than being subsets of it. For example, classical philosophy, those parts dealing with what we now recognize as scientific issues at least, was completely replaced by science after 1929. the entire process took roughly 200 years. Very slow at first and then at breakneck velocity from the late 19th century when Hittorf and Goldstein chanced upon the cathode ray tube until 1929 when Chadwick discovered the last particle of ordinary matter, the neutron. (It is sobering to realize that Faraday could not just run down to his local Radio Shack and buy some wire. He first had to make it.)

So don't give up. You may not be entirely insane. Half of you, the first half, could be somewhat sane.
