Trump says he agreed with Xi to hold off on new tariffs and to let Huawei buy US products
  • Trump and Xi held their highly anticipated bilateral meeting at the G-20 summit in Japan.
  • The two leaders agreed to hold of on new tariffs and to proceed with trade negotiations after a series of escalations to their nations’ tariff battle threatened to disrupt the global economy.
  • Trump suggested he will be reversing his government’s decision to ban American companies from selling products to Chinese tech giant Huawei.

You must be graduate of Trump university! Otherwise, you should have recognized by now that wage stagnation, sub- 2% inflation, and 86% uptick in the layoff announcements in may is the tip of the iceberg of your idiot economic protectionism policy! :sneaky:
 
So, postponing the tariffs is folding? US can impose 25% tariffs on the rest of Chinese goods. It can still happen. President Xi Ping of China now in his remarks emphasizes cooperation. We shall see if he is serious about getting a trade deal done. If the Chinese are still not serious, the cudgel over their heads of a 25% tariff on all Chinese goods would strike the fear in the hearts of any man with a lick of common sense! This is the last chance for China or face the total destruction of the Chinese economy. President Donald Trump has already won. China has backed down. Also, now, if they still remain stubborn and not come to a fair trade deal, they would be looked at as the problem by everyone! The European Union and other countries now know how to deal with China! It only gets worst for the Chinese at this point if they do not sign that fair trade deal! They lose the huge US market totalling $500 billion in exports and when it comes time to sign a fair trade deal with the European Union, they would know how to handle China!

I can cite 2 dozen stats just going the opposite direction... the only place to settle the score is really the market isn't it...

and a landslide that is coming up in 2020... and for that the score is also easy to settle... the vegas line.

what puzzles me is why do they all try to go extreme left... in order to win the primary if someone moves to the middle he'd win over the moderates in the party.
