Trump family trips cost taxpayers $11.3m in one month – almost as much as Obama’s cost in a year

Trump's just leading the same life he always has.

Not like the previous president and his 'wife'. They're like two people that suddenly got ahold of the company credit card and went on a wild spending spree because someone else was paying for it. Freeloaders.

That's some commendable high quality grade A USDA trolling you got there.

YUCK !!!! :vomit::vomit::vomit:

WASHINGTON (AP) — Unsafe seafood. Insufficiently refrigerated meats. Rusty shelving. Cooks without hairnets.

Reports show Florida health inspectors cited President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort with 15 violations in late January, days before the U.S. leader hosted Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe for a diplomatic visit.

Still, the state inspectors allowed the luxury resort's main restaurant and beach club grill to remain open as staff scrambled to make several immediate corrections.

Among the "high priority" problems described as "potentially hazardous" were faulty fridges with meats stored well above the required 41 degrees Fahrenheit. For example, in the restaurant's walk-in cooler the duck and beef were measured at 50 degrees, while a ham was at 57.

Other issues included smoked salmon being served without undergoing "proper parasite destruction." A handwashing sink for employees ran water that was not hot enough.

Stephen Lawson, spokesman for the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, said the violations were the result of a routine inspection and were not prompted by any consumer complaints or food-borne illnesses.

President Donald Trump arrives in South Florida for Easter weekend

Skyler Swisher Sun Sentinel

President Donald Trump has arrived in Palm Beach County where he will spend the Easter weekend.

Air Force One landed about 6:35 p.m. at Palm Beach International Airport, marking the president's seventh visit to his Mar-a-Lago estate since his inauguration.

Trump waved to a crowd of about 100 cheering supporters and then left in a black SUV. First lady Melania Trump and other members of the Trump family arrived on a separate plane.

The president has not confirmed his Easter plans. Last year, Trump attended Easter services with his family at the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Palm Beach.

Trump married his wife Melania at the church in 2005, and the couple christened their son, Barron, in the sanctuary a year later.

As Trump arrived for the Easter holiday, South Florida Democratic members of Congress continued their push for the federal government to reimburse local dollars spent protecting the president during his frequent visits to Mar-a-Lago.

"It should not be left on the taxpayers of Palm Beach County and South Florida to bear the costs of these regular visits by the president," U.S. Rep. Ted Deutch, D-West Boca, said during an event Thursday.

Palm Beach County estimates it has spent more than $3.5 million on beefed-up security since Trump was elected.

Officials estimate $1.5 million was spent this past week alone when Trump met with Chinese President Xi Jinping at Mar-a-Lago.

Road closures will be in effect through Sunday evening. The town of Palm Beach is prohibiting travel on South Ocean Boulevard, from the intersection of South County Road to Southern Boulevard. Commercial trucks are barred from entering the town via the Southern Boulevard Bridge.

Boating and flight restrictions will also be in place near Mar-a-Lago through the weekend.

Trump and the first lady will host the 139th Easter Egg Roll on Monday in Washington. More than 21,000 people will gather on the South Lawn of the White House for the annual event.

Nobody thinks this is shocking? Trump and a true civil servant could not be a starker contrast. This is already turning into an incredibly sad story. A story of 4 wasted, precious years.

Melania Trump ‘should have NYPD paid protection taken away’

First Lady currently costs the New York Police Department between $127,000 and $145,000 every day

The mayor of New York should refuse to pay for Melania Trump’s security, a leading Democrat senator has said.

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer, who represents New York state, said the Trump administration should foot the bill to protect the First Lady if she continues to live in the city rather than Washington DC.

During an interview with BuzzFeed News to mark Donald Trump’s 100th day in office, Mr Schumer said Mayor Bill de Blasio “ought to tell Congress if we [the federal government] don’t pay for it, New York City cops aren’t guarding it, and let the Feds put more people in”.

Ms Trump refused to move to the White House with her husband in January saying she wanted to remain in their Manhattan home so their son Barron,11, could finish the school year.

She is widely regarded as a reluctant First Lady and has been seen at her husband’s side on only a handful of occasions with Mr Trump’s eldest daughter Ivanka taking on most of her unofficial duties.

Security expenditure for the First Lady and her son costs between $127,000 (£98,000) and $145,000 (£112,000) a day, according to the New York Police Department (NYPD)
