Trump faces a much tougher road to reelection than most seem to think.

Trump's biggest problem is his mouth (or his fingers, if you want to be literal about Twitter). Can't just shut up. Says the dumbest things. I can't stand the man's personality. I'm >-< this close to voting Libertarian this time around as a protest vote.

That's what I did last time. Will not do it again.

If you find both candidates appalling, you'd prefer to favor one of them?

Last time - both candidates were appalling to the point that I could vote for neither.

At this point, I am willing to hear Joe out and see who his V.P pick is.

I've listened to him and determined that there's no one upstairs, unfortunately. I used to like Joe. In fact, I've said I'd considered him in the past on this forum several times. But I don't think he is all there anymore, and when the democrats pick a female who is unqualified (as they will) it will be to set her up so he can step down and hand over the Presidency.

It is time for Trump supporters to face reality.

Trump had two golden chances in 2020 to show his leadership skills; COVID-19 and the Floyd protests.

He blew both opportunities -- doing little more than continually tweeting nonsense and holding rambling press briefings.

If he had improved in the last 5 days and acted minimally Presidential he would have had a chance of salvaging his election chances as people let the COVID issues slide. Instead he became even more disconnected from providing leadership in a time of crisis.

My opinion Trump had already lost prior to these events this is just icing on the cake for those of us who think he's a destructive clown that needs to go. I have a hard time thinking of anything at all he's done well in 4 years. Your govt budget was already really bad before the virus gave it a body blow on top. He tried his hardest to kill robust NA economies with pointless trade wars with his supposed allies.

There are times in a Presidency where leadership challenges come to the forefront and demonstrate either the President is a great leader or a failure. Until 2020 Trump has not faced these type of inflection points - now two of them have arrived in an interval of months -- demonstrating to every rational person in the 40% of center swing voters in the U.S. that Trump is not fit to serve a second term.

The above, of course, is my opinion.

Heres the thing man, we don't GAF what asshole foreigners think about our system. When you can point to your own country as being less screwed up than the USA you might have something to say. But I doubt it.
