In addition to the fabric analysis, two of the manufacturer’s employees, including a top sales agent, said the hats’ fabric, bills and stiffeners were imported.
The factory’s owner, Brian Kennedy of Cali-Fame of Los Angeles Inc., said the two employees were wrong, but he declined to explain the fabric discrepancy. Federal law requires that items labeled “Made in USA” be made from materials “all or virtually all” from the United States.
“I’m not using imported materials,” Kennedy told the AP. “We’re playing by the rules.”

Your article doesn't state anything to say the claim isn't true. It says it cannot place where the fabric comes from, but that it wasn't the fabric type the manufacturer insisted it was from.

The hats are certainly constructed by US labor, but whether the fabric originated in the US seems to be a mystery. Having been part of the manufacturing process of hundreds of items in the past, and having to had sourcing verified for a number of reasons, I can tell you unequivocally that when you get down to the specific component material level, sometimes getting a source from that remains difficult. That's why the "virtually all" text is in there.
There are also a good deal of knockoffs that are made available.
So until you have proof that the hat isn't made in the USA, it doesn't appear like you have a case. Again.
This is yet another example of you just wanting to be right because you hate Trump, regardless of actually proving the facts to be on your side - otherwise known as Trump Derangement Syndrome.
If the hats are not made in the US and don't meet the qualifications to state that, please post the proof. I will gladly jump on the kick Trump bandwagon if you show that is so.
