It is very diverse... Just like the US, specially in the south and Southeast which are by far the most populated areas in the country. I'm a descendent from Italians, my greatest childhood friend is descendent from the Japanese and my sister-in-law is a descendent from the Dutch and lives in a Dutch colony here.
The sky-high crime varies greatly on different areas of the country and even within cities, but overall it is much greater than the U.S. and guns are banned on a federal level(contradicting the BS from leftists, that the reason for shootings in the U.S. in the states where guns are banned are caused by guns coming from states where guns are not so restricted... Apparently the concept of smuggling is completely foreign to those idiots).
What's the view on the street there in Brazil toward the situation in Venezuela and the long term/short survival of Maduro?
Some days I think, it is over, Maduro is the Latino Assad and is there forever and day with the help of his russian/chinese buddies.
Other days, I think the sanctions are crippling them severely and the Columbians and Bolsanaro and Trump will meet in Miami and put a plan together.
I don't I know and I am not working any position. Just asking what the view among the locals there is.
This could be off-topic, so shoot me.
