Trump delivers again; bans immigration from 7 Muslim countries.

Unsure who you're addressing.

I would check the methodology. Rasmussen was consistently right about Trumps poll numbers. The polls are skewed by over and under representation of certain demographic groups. Say they over-sample democrats at 45% when they know current affiliation is 31%. Or they poll far more women then men, giving another democratic bias. That's why the polls were so off. The pollsters actively and colluded to skew the polls to help the democrats. Look who commissions most of the polls - ABC, CBS, MSNBC, New York Times etc. It's all there man. Just look up the methodology in the original document on the pollsters website.

As we can see, nothing has changed. Despite the popular will being expressed at the ballot box, the mainstream media don't give af.

Sure. Look at the popular voting results. Next look at how Rasmussen reports how Democrat leaning people they asked think about the ban. From there you can deduce that they have not surveyed a mixed type of people but mostly Republican leaning ones. The first metric (popular vote) is a factually true and verified number. How Democrats think of the ban Rasmussen itself reported (34% in favor, it's in their report). So how did they get to 57% total of all respondents favoring the ban unless they asked more non Democrat leaning respondents? Sometimes math and basic statistics greatly help.

So, without understanding Rasmussen's methodology or researching it, but only because you don't like the result, you instantly dismiss the results and assume all they did was poll some rust belt rednecks? Do I understand you correctly?

Maybe because independents are strongly in favor of the ban? It's not just Republicans and Democrats, you know, right? Sometimes an understanding of polling greatly helps.

Right, of course Rasmussen conveniently omitted that metric lol.

It's pretty clear that Rasmussen is right leaning. And they were the one with the largest polling error ever among all other polling services (Hawaii) before getting the Trump election more right than others. Each time they surveyed a race where a Democrat was leading their error was larger than the one of most others

Nothing is omitted. I understood it just fine.
