Half corporate America is protesting and openly speaking up against the ban. That's certainly not because they employ a lot of people from those countries. It is because it goes against everything America stands for and singles out Muslims especially after Trump said he would give Christians preferential treatment. Can we take this president for his word or should we always have to double check via Twitter whether what he says is what he means? It's tiring to ensure his constant walk backs just 10 days into the presidency.
More than half of the public is pleased with the ban. 57%, actually.

Can you please stop calling it a Muslim ban. Do not fall into main stream media. There are over 40 Muslim nations where there is no ban. 7 countries under the ban are where the rule of law is very tepid, and thus are a flourishing ground for terrorist. It is there to protect you (if you live in US), and it is temporary until clearance measures are implemented.
