Politically motivated.
Makes no sense to cut taxes and not cut/increase spending... that just creates greater unsustainable (ultimately) deficits.

Taxes should not be the only govt revenue. They should be treated as the govt seed capital. The idea is that taxes should go down over time not up while making it easier for people.

Cutting taxes can increase tax revenue if done properly.
Yes, he inherited 1 trillion deficit from bush and cut it in half, then trump comes in doubles it back to 1 trillion.
so far reality contradicts its. Every tax cut lead to deficits.
