How do you figure. Biden had a response to everything. Despite me disagreeing with literally everything he has to say anyone who was on the fence about Biden's composure vs Trump's composure will unanimously swing to Biden.

Biden did what any reptile with 45 years of pandering experience does. He panders. He pandered extremely well and allowed Trump to look like a child. He threw jabs which no one did in 2016 and put Trump on his back foot several times. Even I had a hard time listening to Trump and I generally agree with him. It was like an audiobook of his Twitter feed.

Trumpy kept hammering Biden with little jabs all night. Trying to rattle him. That was clearly his plan from the start. He uppercut him a dozen times with BRUTAL barbs. Joe never completely fell down but winner by unanimous decision:

As bad as the debates went for Trump, it could have been even worse. Biden had three opportunities to knock it out of the park, Trump had one.

ES is down a little over 1% since the end of the debate. Other risk assets are weakening. Perhaps some are beginning to price in the real possibility that Trump may not be reelected.
Will be interesting to see if there are industry specific portfolio adjustments by institutions tomorrow.
