Springtime in Washington
There is a figure that is silhouetted by the rising sun on Pennsylvannia Avenue this morning. The smell of cherry blossoms in the air reminds one of the renewal that spring brings. As this man walks to his helicopter, he carries the weight of the world on his broad shoulders. Misunderstood by many, he carries on with a will and depth of intellect that few can comprehend. Determined to save America, this status quo busting President has forseen what it will take to restore America to its former glory.
Some people see his rapid position changes as a sign of that Trump does not know what he is doing. Some people see his sometimes harsh words against dangerous opponents as a sign this leader is crazy. Indeed he is, like a fox. By pushing people and situations to their limits, he teases out the core important issue they are concerned about as well as the other parties commitment to their position. Trump then uses this information to create a negotiation plan or policy that will maximize his and our advantage.
Look at what Trump has done with the recent China negotiations. He won trade concessions versus prior administrations giving away the farm by being “nice”.
Trumps exceptional and in-depth reading of people and situations allows him to test limits without undue risk. Lets take Syria for example: Trump has credibly asserted that all options are on the table, but also that all options are still available. Trump can take measures to enhance his options without committing to anything while awaiting for key information to come in.
As the Sun sets through this great man’s golden hair this evening, this exceptional man understands and takes in stride the fact that so few understand him. Trump is driven by his love for America and will fall into the deep and easy sleep that comes after a productive and righteous day.
