Trump Courting Clinton Impeachment Lawyer Amid Russia Probe: Reports
Emmet Flood is a veteran attorney who represented President Bill Clinton during his impeachment hearings.


President Donald Trump is in talks to add a high-profile Washington lawyer to the White House legal team to help respond to the special counsel’s Russia probe, reported The New York Times and Reuters.

Emmet T. Flood, who represented President Bill Clinton during his impeachment hearings in the late 1990s, met with Trump in the Oval Office last week to discuss the possibility of representing him, the Times first reported Saturday.

Not gonna happen.

Emmet Flood is currently representing Hillary Clinton so he is going to be plenty busy with her in the coming months, and already. Representing the Clintons is the closest thing to an annuity as you can get in the business world.

They may have him on for a few consultations though. In which case the media will report that he has been hired, and then when he leaves because he was only there to consult a little, they will report that he quit because of problems with trump. It's what they do.
