Not liking The Donald on this one.
He wants cheap USD to promote exports, therefore making "US economy/GDP" look good... which is favorable to his reelection efforts.
However... a weak USD means "all Americans' money has less buying power, making us poorer".
IOW... Trumpy wants weak US currency for his own ego stroking.... doesn't give a crap that it hurts all Americans (except exporters.)
All in all, I favor a strong USD. I'd rather my money "buy more" than "buy less". Let everybody else adjust as they will.
