Trump campaign email “Meeting with Russian Leadership - Including Putin.”

Three days after Donald Trump named his campaign foreign policy team in March 2016, the youngest of the new advisers sent an email to seven campaign officials with the subject line: “Meeting with Russian Leadership - Including Putin.”

The adviser, George Papadopoulos, offered to set up “a meeting between us and the Russian leadership to discuss US-Russia ties under President Trump,” telling them his Russian contacts welcomed the opportunity, according to internal campaign emails read to The Washington Post.

that is what incoming presidents do.
especially after the mess obama and clinton made in syria arming terrorists and playing a big part in the formation of ISIS.

This was during the campaign, not during the transition.

it would help if the article were not behind a pay wall. but even if the email to see if they wanted to meet came up during the campaign, so what?

First lines of the article that I posted

"Three days after Donald Trump named his campaign foreign policy team in March 2016"

It's illegal for campaigns to coordinate with foreigners.

what a troll you are. .
I pulled the article up in a different brower and read most of the article.
you are such a troll.

the article says the campaign acted more concerned rather than excited.
this email inquiry went nowhere.

the article than changed direction and talked about the advisor issues we already know about.

The email is from March 2016, Manafort met with representative of Russian government in June 2016, their 'concern' went nowhere.

And piss off with your personal insults, if you think I am a troll then don't fucking respond.

your own article shows what a troll you are... and since you recklessly misrepresent things in every thread... it shows you to be a liar too.

this is what your own article says... about the guy doing the emails. Which is in part why you got the top troll ranking on the intial list today.

"While the emails illustrate his eagerness to strengthen the campaign’s connections to the Russian government, Papadopoulos does not spell out in them why it would be in Trump’s interest to do so. His entreaties appear to have generated more concern than excitement within the campaign, which at the time was looking to seal the Republican nomination and take on a heavily favored Hillary Clinton in the general election.

But the internal resistance to Papadopoulos’s requests is at odds with other overtures Trump allies were making toward Russia at the time, mostly at a more senior level of the campaign."

So literally quoting the article and then correcting some fool who thought the emails about transition is being a troll? Anybody who is not ballwashing Trump and his Nazis is a troll in your book, so be it.

And what's funny is that you got the whole thing completely wrong but your way to weasel out of it is by attacking others personally. You thought the emails were about presidential transition without even trying to read the email or even read the part that I quoted.
