This would certainly be unprecedented in modern times. Even with all the rhetoric, this has to be too low for Republicans. If this were done many people are going to turn violent. I mean, you can't make the ending of democracy this obvious.

Actually, it would be wise to have a plan in place just in case there is fraud on The Idiot Dem side or a fiasco with mail in ballots that can't be resolved . There is no Constitutional requirement for citizens to vote for electors and it would be good to have this ready to go as a back up plan. The story above may be true or untrue---I really don't know.

Yeah, the backup plan should obviously be to automatically keep Trump in office if they find a single extra vote for Biden.
 
Yeah, I'm going to be a bit skeptical of this. Not that I don't think Trump throws a tizzy if he believes the election is tainted (rightfully or otherwise), he will. I don't think either side is going to accept anything short of a blow out. But I don't see him doing this based on a Salon and Yahoo suggestion.

Still, nothing this lunatic does surprises me.
