Trump Breaks Up Peaceful Protest for Church Photo Op

Let's see how our first President, George Washington, dealt with protestors:

As a bonus, let's see you President Hoover dealt with protestors:
WW1 protestors demanding pay (Bonus Army) - shoot them.

At this point, in context of U.S. history, Trump should be congratulated for his constraint.
Washington was a slave owner, ergo, owning slaves is ok now

And normally the right only tear gases them.

After all the nasty stuff the left says regularly about Christianity, churches, and clergy -- it's very hard to find an example of the left-wing supporting the church.

Do you only support the church for a few hours when it is suddenly convenient to your narrative?

Sorry, got as far a Shay's rebellion and.. You have the wrong Lincoln. Benjamin Lincoln.

It was the govoner who ordered this response.

Do I really know US history better than guys who grew up there? I guess so.

I don't care about the church, I do care about some 4 times married conman tear gassing peaceful protesters and the clergy so he can have a photo OP at the church AFTER not praying.

i think you need to re-read the entire history including Washington's letters -- and the support he rounded up to send to help Benjamin Lincoln and other governors. Shay's rebellion was not confined to a single state.

I'll have to look later. Devil is in the details. It was commanded by a military officer (Shay) against military. Its a terrible example.
